Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Battle Card Rumble. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Battle Card Rumble.
1. Who we are
Battle Card Rumble (the "Service", the "App") is operated by Aspiring Tech Pte Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at jokersstudio@outlook.com with "Battle Card Rumble" as the email subject.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Battle Card Rumble. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country (commonly 18), you may only use Battle Card Rumble with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these age requirements.
Some features (in-app purchases in particular) may have additional age or consent requirements imposed by Apple, Google, or your local laws. You are responsible for complying with those.
Battle Card Rumble is available in multiple countries. It is your responsibility to ensure your use of the Service is lawful where you live.
3. Your account
You can play as a Guest (anonymous, device-local progress) or sign in with a third-party provider (currently Google; Apple coming). Linked accounts let your progress carry across devices.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised access to your account if you have not taken reasonable steps to protect it (e.g. sharing your Google account password, leaving a phone unlocked).
You can delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for what data is removed.
4. License to use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Battle Card Rumble on devices you own or control, for your personal non-commercial entertainment.
This license does not transfer ownership of the App, the game's code, artwork, audio, or virtual items to you. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, modify the client, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage over other players.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Impersonate another person, including other Battle Card Rumble players, our staff, or any public figure.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited messages (spam) including via the in-app sharing / referral features.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, gambling beyond what is permitted in your jurisdiction, or financing of illegal activities.
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or any virtual items.
- Access the Service through any automated means (scrapers, scripts) except for the official client we publish.
We may suspend or terminate your account, without notice, if you breach these rules — see §11 below.
6. Virtual currency, virtual items, in-app purchases
6.1 Coins (in-game currency)
Battle Card Rumble uses "coins" as in-game currency. Coins can be earned through gameplay (winning matches, daily rewards, achievements, referrals) or purchased through in-app purchases. Coins are used for betting in matches and (in some game modes) entering tournaments.
Coins have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for cash or other currency, sold, traded with other players, or transferred between accounts. They are licensed to you for use only within Battle Card Rumble.
6.2 Cosmetic items
Battle Card Rumble offers cosmetic items (avatar frames, card decks, future additions like emotes and banners). These are purely visual and provide no gameplay advantage. They are licensed to you for use within Battle Card Rumble and have no real-world value.
6.3 In-app purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). All transactions are governed by the platform's billing terms in addition to these Terms. By making a purchase you agree to those platform terms.
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their refund policies — not by us directly. To request a refund, contact the platform from which you made the purchase. We will honour any refund Apple or Google grants by removing the corresponding coins or cosmetics from your account.
We reserve the right to (without limitation) modify, suspend, or remove coin pricing, cosmetic catalogues, and IAP offerings at any time. Changes will not retroactively affect coins or cosmetics already purchased.
6.4 Not gambling
Battle Card Rumble does NOT offer real-money gambling. Coins won in matches are virtual-only and cannot be redeemed for cash. The fact that coins can be bought with real money does not make match outcomes gambling under most jurisdictions. Where local law treats virtual-currency betting as gambling, you are responsible for complying with that law (including not playing if you are below the local gambling age).
7. Subscriptions (if offered)
Battle Card Rumble may from time to time offer subscription products (auto-renewing memberships). Where offered:
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You can cancel auto-renewal at any time via your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Deleting your Battle Card Rumble account does NOT cancel an active subscription with Apple or Google. You must cancel separately.
8. User-generated content
Battle Card Rumble currently has minimal user-generated content (display names, profile choices, optional deletion-request reason). You retain ownership of any content you submit but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use it solely as necessary to operate the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
9. Service availability and changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time without prior notice. We may impose limits on certain features or restrict access to portions of the Service.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption, error-free, or secure against unauthorised access. Routine maintenance, updates, or external disruptions (e.g. Google Cloud, Apple App Store, Google Play outages) may make the Service temporarily unavailable.
10. Updates to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version number at the top of this page and the "effective" date. If the changes are material, we will notify you in-app and may require you to re-accept the Terms before continuing to use the Service.
Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, your remedy is to stop using the Service and request account deletion.
11. Termination
By you: you can stop using Battle Card Rumble at any time. To delete your account and personal data, use the in-app Delete Account button (Profile screen) or the web deletion form.
By us: we may suspend or terminate your account, without refund and without notice, if you breach these Terms (especially §5 Acceptable Use), if required by law, or if continuing to provide service to you exposes us or other users to harm.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may preserve account data as required by law (e.g. financial records for tax purposes) but will otherwise delete it per the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or harmful components.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers — in those jurisdictions, the above disclaimers apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- In no event shall Aspiring Tech Pte Ltd, its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
- Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed (a) the total amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — for example, liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aspiring Tech Pte Ltd from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
15. Consumer rights (EU, UK, California, others)
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country or region. If you are an EU/UK consumer, the law of your country of residence may give you statutory rights in addition to those in these Terms — those rights are unaffected.
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases — but this right is forfeited once you start using a purchased digital item (e.g. coins or a cosmetic), which you expressly consent to by tapping the purchase confirmation in-app.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Fiji, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Fiji.
This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection given to you by laws that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country in which you are habitually resident.
17. Apple App Store / Google Play notice
If you download Battle Card Rumble from the Apple App Store or Google Play:
- These Terms are between you and Aspiring Tech Pte Ltd, not Apple or Google.
- Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or its content, and are not bound by these Terms.
- Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support for the App. Contact us at the address in §1 for support requests.
- Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and can enforce them against you.
18. General
Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder remain in effect.
No waiver: our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
Entire agreement: these Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. They supersede any earlier agreement on the same subject.
Assignment: you may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
